AMY J GARDNER
I’m an experienced producer/director and journalist with a background in both digital and broadcast production. I can deliver high-quality videos from pitch to publishing: developing, shooting, producing scripting and editing.
And I’ve recently directed, filmed and produced a half-hour documentary for the Unreported World series (Channel 4, UK) on how ordinary people in Taiwan are preparing for war with China.
I’ve worked for Channel 4 News where I made digital documentaries on international affairs stories, ranging from Poland’s LGBT-free zones to Colombia’s disappeared protestors, and the Afghan girls football team. The TV series I produced for US network, Univision, was nominated for a Peabody award.
I’ve lived in Madrid, Miami, London and Lisbon, and love learning about cultures and their quirks. I’m passionate about making human-led and social justice stories that really connect with audiences.
I edit in Avid and Premiere Pro.
